There are places that are not called “home,”
and yet, they are the only ones that truly feel like it.

They are not the places where we grew up,
nor the ones filled with childhood memories,
but the ones our hearts chose without warning.

Somewhere far from everything familiar,
we met souls who became essential,
friends who, without even knowing it, became family.

And sometimes, a gentle nostalgia settles in,
the kind that lingers from shared laughter and simple moments,
from knowing glances in a place that was never meant to be “home” —
and yet somehow became exactly that.

Because home is not always where we are from,
but where we feel most alive. Where we feel completely us.

A place the heart recognizes,
and never forgets.
