True growth isn't about never facing a challenge; it’s about choosing hope over fear, tapping into our inner strength, and remembering that we always have control over how we react to life's circumstances.

Let’s keep pushing forward, staying focused, and working hard in silence letting the results do the talking. by @vicclarkphotography

Remember when someone said, “You can be anything you want to be when you grow up”?

Apparently, we forgot to mention there would be a background check, a competency test, or at least a brief interview.

At this point, I’m starting to think the White House needs an HR department and a 90-day probationary period.

“Anyone can be president” was supposed to be inspirational, not a dare. by @vicclarkphotography

Bear: “If I can’t see you, you can’t see me.” 75 pounds of pure invisibility. Bear has mastered the art of hiding in plain sight. Well… about 20% of him has. Apparently, nobody told him that hiding is a full-body commitment. by @vicclarkphotography

Adopt Don’t Shop!

The hard life of Bear, rescued service dog, professional protector, and full-time bed supervisor.

Bear takes his responsibilities very seriously.

Protect Mom.
Protect the house.
Protect the bed.

Although, judging by this picture, I’m beginning to think those priorities may not necessarily be in that order.

He’s gone from being rescued to living a life where the pillows are plentiful, the blankets are soft, and apparently an entire side of the bed is now part of his compensation package.

He protects his mom and his bed with equal determination. One is his job. The other is clearly his property. ❤️🐾 by @vicclarkphotography

Pulling up to work tonight.
Apparently, these three have claimed a random vehicle as their own. 😂🐦‍⬛

No idea who owns it, but they’re going to be in for a surprise when they come back.

The one on the left is security.
The one in the middle clearly owns the place.
And the one on the right is yelling:

“Go ahead. Try to get in. We dare you.”

At this point, I’m pretty sure the actual owner is going to need to show ID, registration, and proof of insurance before these guys hand over the vehicle.

Good luck, whoever you are 🤣 by @vicclarkphotography

I’m ready for cooler Houston nights again. If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to go shoot long exposure sometime,” this might be your chance.

Once the summer heat finally breaks, it’s time to pull out the camera, slow down the shutter, and start chasing light across the city.

Some of my favorite memories behind a camera came from nights like these, exploring Houston with friends, finding places we’d normally drive right past, and staying out way too late trying to get that one shot.

By November, the nights should finally be cool enough to start doing it again.

I’m thinking it may be time to put together a nighttime photography adventures. Cameras, tripods, long exposures, great locations, and a small group of people who simply love photography.
