This month marks 4 years from the release of #chasm. Thanks to everyone who listened to and supported that EP. It represents a very difficult but inspiring time in our lives.

There are a handful of demos from those sessions that may see the light of day before long.

Until then, cheers! by @viceyears

Hard to believe it's been 2 years since we released "Spotless." This was the first music we released after losing Andy. You can hear the emotion in the vocal takes.

Fun fact, Andy didn't really care for this song. We had shelved it for a while because we kind of stalled on the direction. Once we came back to it, the song blossomed into what it is.

The final version is far different from its original form. After Andy passed, it became a personal mission of ours to create songs that would live up to his super high standards and that we thought he would have loved. That sentiment drove everything that came after.

Such an awesome feeling to be nominated for Best Hard Rock Album for Chasm at this year's @wammiesdc awards. When I think about creating this EP, Andy comes to mind. He was a driving force behind everything Vice Years. We completed these songs for him as a tribute to his talent and to what a great friend he was to us over the years. What an honor it would be to win, but just being nominated is great too.

We miss you every day dude. Your attitude towards life, friends, family and music live on through these songs. You inspired us and anyone who's life you touched.
