they talked about it in 1960 & we still haven’t fixed the problem. to this day, that is the storyline that sticks with me the most from this movie. even with the song.

we truly need to do better as a society & hold folks accountable for their actions. we need to teach not only consent, but respecting all boundaries. lines shouldn’t be crossed. period. the end.

another bittersweet week. this seems to be the new normal now. I was reading something the other day that said we must not lose our hope, our joy, or our sanity through all the trials and tribulations. our hope and our joy make us resilient. life is about balance. I will continue to show up for all of you. I am here like so many of you are for me. we cannot do it on our own and we shouldn’t have to. remember that.

It’s been a whirlwind month for me in the genres of horror and sci-fi. I acted in a terrific horror comedy feature film called TIE DIE at the end of August. The proof-of-concept short, CYBER FIGHTER, where I have a major role and co-produced, premiered this past Monday night at the iconic TCL Chinese Theater. And, it ain’t over yet!

The short horror film I wrote, directed and produced with my wife Christine has been selected for another film festival! EASY TO SCARE is an official selection and is in competition for awards at the Hollywood Horrorfest. This is one of the premiere horror movie festivals in LA. I just missed the deadline to get in last year, but made it this time!

EASY TO SCARE will be screening in the final block of films at the festival, PROGRAM 8, on Sunday, September 27, 5:00 - 7:00pm, along with ten other horror shorts.
