when we say being disabled is a full-time job, we dont mean a 40hr work week. we mean a grueling 24/7 job

our medical equipment (if there is any), is our uniform

when we look put together, we often feel like we're dying inside (some people actually *are* dying)

when we go out, our bodies work overtime to 'make up" the work

even when we rest, we work

and none of us chose to work here

HOLY SHIT!!!! this concert was definitely one of my absolute favorites, it was so sureal. i cant believe i was able to go!!!! a bucket list cross-off for sure! @kannertime and @bansheebbyy were complete gems, and i already wanna go back to last night; i cant believe i got to see them live 😍✨️🫶🏻 (ignore the way insta cropped my videos)

i cant believe my camera didnt pick up me singing??? it did in the second video tho!! (i also got to scream into the mic with banshee in the second video, im sobbingggg 😭)

the accessibility was chill, no specific ada section, but when we got there, they made a section! i didnt go in the bathroom, but my mom said it was accessible enough

last night's sapphic dance party was FANTASTIC!!!! (the fan on the booth was covering half of medusa's muse lolol) the music was such a vibe and sapphica star was iconic!!!! even though i had to leave early (during the last set), i had such a fun time omg!!!! the way the floor was literally bouncing my wheelchair???? like omg iconic

the wheelchair accessibility was great!! i had my own little corner and everyone was ON TOP of it when i came to making sure i was all set. i didnt go in the bathrooms, so i cant say anything about that, but i felt like everyone actually cared about my enjoyment of the event rather than just kinda "tossed" to one side and left to fend for myself
