Stormy skies ☁️ but friendly vibes 😎 at this morning’s @the_tv_mindset freelancer hub in Cardiff.

Thanks to @gorillagrouptv for hosting and @actionforfreelancers for supporting. Great to be there representing @uk_screenskills and meeting so many TV freelancers across a range of levels and disciplines.

I was too busy nattering away inside to get any pics of attendees 🙈🤣 taken in Gloworks Cardiff Bay by @vickiballcreative

Waving goodbye to maternity leave and ‘Shwmae’ 👋 to a new role for me @uk_screenskills - Training Liaison Manager for Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 😃

I’ll be leading on ScreenSkills’ work in Wales supporting training and skills across all levels of career seniority for the HETV, Film and Unscripted skills funds.

One lovely colleague greeted my first day back yesterday with a ‘welcome home’ message 🥹. Which for me, really symbolises what a special organisation I’m lucky to work for and I’m really excited to get my teeth into this new role for me 🩷.

I hope to reach out to Welsh crew and companies for catch ups soon!

But for now - so much to digest and process thanks to superstar Hannah Roose who’s been stewarding the role flawlessly while I’ve been off.

Cofion gorau 💫
