I dare you to watch this video of my nephew, @henry_bmxkid , and not smile or feel a bit emotional as he flies through the air on his BMX.

Henry has big goals for 2026—all stepping stones toward representing Canada at the 2032 Olympics in BMX Freestyle. 🇨🇦

He’s been putting in a ton of work and is fundraising so he can get to some key competitions this year—and he still has a long way to go.

🚲 Proud Auntie Vicki moment:

In 2025, at just 15 years old, Henry placed 6th in the Elite Men’s category at the Canadian National BMX Freestyle Championships—competing alongside Olympians and X Games gold medalists.

If you’re able to support or share, it would mean a lot.

Every repost goes a long way. 🙌

P.S. Link is in my bio to Henry’s fundraising page.
P.P.S Sorry about the captions—I’m not very tech savvy…

Thursday night drawing and charcoal practice.

Blind contour drawing and getting familiar with charcoal again.

Big thanks to @tansyleemoir for the drawing lessons and charcoal practice support.

It’s been a bit of a week with a sudden loss that has left me feeling a bit adrift.
