Mums and dads
Don’t stop praying for your children…Prayer is such an important tool.
As parents, we can not go everywhere with our children and part of trusting God is to pray for them.

There is so much peace, when you commit them into God hands, knowing that he protects, provides, comforts and has nothing but good plans for us.

Even it if just 5 10 minutes a day, commit that time to lift your children up before God, and watch what he will do for you and your family.

The moment that you realise you deserve better…

There is something so important about understanding your Worth. Once you’ve come to that realisation, everything changes.

This includes unwanted relationships, Job satisfaction, not wasting your time and energy on things that no longer make you happy. Lastly, always pouring yourself into relationships and leaving yourself empty.

I heard this expression recently… give people your overflow, which means ensure that your cup is full at all times and you can give people the excess rather than your full content. Preserve your peace, maintain your wellbeing and allow the best vision of you to shine.

There are several people who think about this question frequently?

Purpose versus intention? These words are used interchangeably however, they are not the same. Your Purpose really is why you do what you do? Your Intention is an intended aim or plan.
The aim isn’t to just LIVE but to have a purposeful life, one that impacts and grows in all seasons.
You were created for a purpose. A purpose and plan has already been assigned to your name!
There is so much MORE that you have to give, so don’t give up now. The world is waiting for you to unravel your all of gifts and talents

Busyness can create a distraction from the things that really matter such as ; praying and seeking the face of God. Have you ever wondered why he has a still small voice...

Can you hear him amongst all the distractions?
Are you being intentional about seeking his direction and clarification.
Plans fail due to lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed #proverbs 15:22#.
Being booked and busy isn’t t a bad thing, as long as you remember to make time for things that matter.

Motherhood and her many roles...

There is no doubt about it, Mothers have many roles and some times we down play the magnitude of what we do.

The Operational manager/ household manager to ensure that the family is organised, feed, dressed, ready for the day and where possible implementing best practice and processes to ensure that things go according to plan.
The Chef arranging breakfast, lunch, dinner and any snacks in between.
The Nurse, providing medical support for your child.
The Teacher... there is and will always be an opportunity to teach/ train/ coach/motivate and inspire your child to reach their full potential.
The Playmate... which involves quality time and fun.
The Event planner... organising play dates, family vacations, school events after school activities and school vacations.
Conflict management, this involves teaching your child how to deal with conflict, including clearly stating the series of events when explaining why they are upset?Explaining how to move forward for example; playing nicely, showing how to forgive others and move on or simply just apologising to the individual.

Misconception about Motherhood

1. A good mum bonds with her baby immediately.
2. Motherhood comes naturally to every mum.
3. Breastfeeding is natural so the process should come naturally to mothers.
4. Every time a mother takes time out for herself she deprives her child of quality time. #Health is wealth & Self care is necessary#
5. A good mum ensures everything goes according to plan...
6. A good mother always knows what their baby wants.
7. A good mum can do it all.

All of these misconceptions can contribute to mum shaming and mental health issues. Let’s be mindful and protective of new and existing mothers.

School mums the struggle is real...

Children are unpredictable and whether you have a stringent routine or not something always happens...
1. The negotiation to eat breakfast in the morning before going to school.😅
2. Asking numerous times wherever they have their book bag, water bottle, hat, shoes on, coat on, homework...#the list goes#
3. The discussions about taking things to school? A daily discussion considering Toys, books, presents to show their friends. No, no and no...
4. 6 hours literally goes so quick, by the time you drop them to school, you are pretty much back at the school within a few hours😂
5. I previously saw parents ready with snacks at the school gate and now I’ve joined them. 😂😂
