With pleasure and pride we present Richmond’s PREMIER (and only?🤔) Irish-Mexican solidarity/tradpunk fusion band. Blending languages and bending genres is our game, Los San Patricios is our name. Inspired by the Saint Patrick’s Battalion, a group of Irish soldiers who defected from the US Army to join the Mexicans and fight off the American invasion, the spirit of this project transcends any one people, time, or place. Here is where the universal longing for home and the eternal quest for freedom unite in a glorious amalgam that’s as rambunctious as it is moving. This dream team includes Brendan Boylan (vocals, fiddle), Ramona Martinez (vocals, tin whistle, melodica), Victor McManus (guitar), Jacob Korona (bass) and Joe Stadulis-Forcier (drums). We look forward to meeting you! Stay tuned for at least a couple shows coming up SOON!
God bless, tiocfaidh ár lá ❤️‍🔥

@_gstafor designed this beautiful poster and has made an incredible zine to commemorate our set and give some historical context 🙏🏼🙏🏼

100% of door proceeds go to @distributeaid, a grassroots organization bringing critical aid to medical evacuees out of Gazå. There will be tabling for zines, local art and merch with portions of sales going to the cause. Distribute Aid will generously match up to $3,500 in funds raised ❤️‍🔥

We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on! Direct your St Patty’s day plans towards some mighty craic for a good cause! ☘️☘️🔥🔥
