There will be a day where you’ll be glad you didn’t quit, NEVER give up 🤍

Sometimes the things you want the most take longer than you ever imagined. There will be setbacks, moments of doubt and days where you question whether any of it is worth it.

But so much can change in a year, two years, even five years.

Just because something isn’t happening as quickly as you’d hoped doesn’t mean it isn’t going to happen.

Keep showing up, keep believing in yourself and remember why you started.

Because one day, you’ll look back at all the moments you nearly gave up and be so grateful that you kept going.

Can anyone EVER be 100% authentic online?? 👀

As someone who has built a career on and with social media it got me thinking and I ended up doing a TED talk about it.

Because even when we’re being authentic online we’re still always cutting out parts of the story.

And once people realise this, the way you use social media will change FOREVER.

It took me a year to write and to find an answer to the question of : Can anyone ever be 100% authentic online? Let me know your thoughts and comment TED for the link to the talk.

Let’s be honest I’m heavily type B in every area of my life so when it comes to taking maternity leave, am I really going to be any different??🤣

Anyway here’s what I have set up for far, I have a few more months of planning to go so please let me know about anything you did to help you get prepared.

I WISH I would’ve seen more posts like this in my first trimester!!

My socials have looked great the past few months, just you wait till you see the behind the scenes 😅

All whilst trying to tell myself “you’ve wanted this for years, you should be so happy” after struggling to get pregnant before and having a miscarriage.

Women are SO strong for doing all of this whilst showing up for work and everyone else everyday!!

People can only share you 10% of their full reality, you have NO IDEA what their real life looks like 🖤 by @vicky.owens

Baby boy coming early 2027!!! 💙✨

In true Vicky style, I feel like I can’t just put a post out about this without talking about the bits you don’t see behind it.

I have wanted to be a mum my whole life, many of you will know that. What I didn’t know is that it’s not always that easy 😅

Mine and Matt’s journey to getting here was longer than we’d hoped, and unfortunately this wasn’t our first pregnancy on this journey.

On top of that, I’ve had the morning sickness from HELL for the past 4 months. No one could have prepared me for that!!! And then you feel so guilty for being miserable when you’re in a position you’ve wanted to be in for years.

It’s been such an up and down rollercoaster, and it felt really important to share that part too rather than just the positive news.

But we are SO happy and have talked about being parents ever since we got together 7 years ago on this exact day🤍 by @vicky.owens
