November was full (in every sense of the word), and I've been quieter here than usual, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to share that one of my images was featured in the Feels Like Family Fall Journal.

This community celebrates storytelling rooted in real life. Messy, tender, fleeting moments held together by connection rather than perfection. It’s the kind of work I’ve felt myself pulled toward more and more this year, and the direction I’m leaning into wholeheartedly as I head into the next.

I’ve started incorporating film into my sessions lately, and honestly it’s been such an incredible shift. Film makes me slow down, notice more, and really be present in the moment.

This time of year can feel like a blur of to-dos and traditions, but I just want to gently remind you, there’s magic in the in-between. The way your kid lights up over something small. A shared laugh that catches you off guard. That warm, quiet feeling when everyone’s finally under the same roof.

I’ve lost count of how many expecting mamas have told me they almost skipped their maternity photos. And honestly, I get it. I skipped them too. At the time, it felt like one more thing. One more outfit to find, one more thing to plan. But now, with both of my girls older, I would give anything to have a photo of that season that wasn’t just a mirror selfie.

That’s why my goal with every session is to make it feel effortless and authentically you. No stress. No pressure. Just a chance to slow down and celebrate something really special.
