Don’t ask me why I run, ask yourself why you do not. Running hills / slopes breaks up your rhythm and forces your muscles to adapt to what it’s not used to.The elevations and weather in this city nearly broke me. Getting back the fitness level I desire or want for myself is a JOURNEY and not a DESTINATION. Gradually settling into the zone I find so hard to be in.. I’ll be very Sincere, words can’t describe how I felt but if I want to , it would be an unbelievable Euphoria.Yes I am new into running but it was the shortest training block anyone could have , a lot happened during training. All I have to say, this was one of the hardest runs I’ve ever done. I planned breaking my Personal best (PB) during this 10K Just me, my thoughts, and the loud noise of these Hoka Carbon X shoes.I finished the race better than I expected . Had my personal best 5K on the Race.I’m so proud of myself.At 8k with the pace I was going , I really wanted to stop. But I didn’t. I kept going. I got a PB in my First Ever Official 10km Run even though the finish line was around 9.45Km.
