I just want to tap into my inner child, I want her to know how fabulous she is and will be. That all the kindness and empathy that she shows others isn't in vain. Everything happens for a reason, she's resilient and history is being made. That there are like-minded people just like her! I would like to thank @nzemamamy @jewelss20 @bxnedicte for being a part of my sisterhood. I'm so excited for the work we have to do, as women we are seen as less than! The reality of being a parent of a child with additional needs is things people don’t see. Cleaning messes and carrying on. Watching progress and regress side by side. Sacrificing opportunities and missing events while still worrying about who will care for your child in the future. And when people say, ‘You’re so strong,’ the truth is, I don’t always feel strong. I’m just taking it one day, one hour, sometimes one breath at a time. This isn’t about sympathy, it’s about reality. I may not have won the crown, but making the Top 24 out of 40 countries representing the Democratic Republic of Congo is something I’m truly proud of. 🇨🇩👑

The highs and lows of postpartum 🥲😁

This past month has been one of the hardest seasons I’ve experienced. Postpartum has challenged me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Some days have felt overwhelming, and healing hasn’t been easy.

But even in the middle of this season, I’m so proud of myself. I had the honour of representing the Democratic Republic of Congo as Miss Peace International 2026 and finishing in the Top 24. Looking back, I realise just how resilient I’ve been.

Now, I’m giving myself permission to slow down. To rest. To heal. To choose myself without guilt.

Self-love, for me, looks like taking life one day at a time, embracing this new chapter, and even treating myself to a few beautiful outfits from @meka_femme that make me feel confident again.

To every mum navigating postpartum: be kind to yourself. Your healing doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Rest is productive, grace is powerful, and you are doing better than you think. 🫂😘
