Our first visit to Disneyland Paris…
47,000 steps later… this is what we learnt 😜

8.30am if you’re staying at a Disney Hotel, 9.30am if you’re not. But try to be there for 9am to start queuing
Also
TAKE A RAINCOAT/PONCHO!
We didn’t… and got absolutely soaked because we refused to pay €56 for four very expensive plastic bags.

Take your own food & drinks in!
Especially when a Coke costs nearly as much as a glass of wine!
BUT…
this was an absolute must-purchase!
Champagne in a fancy Disney glass that you get to KEEP afterwards. Obviously.

Want to actually SEE the parade? Get there early.
And by early, I mean at least an hour before. Then prance around to the music

3pm–6pm hotel reset = GAME CHANGER. Back out refreshed for the more rides and the evening shows.

Spider-Man ride was an absolute must a win for everyone especially Daisy
We played games in the queues to help the wait time pass, Yahtzee and Monopoly kept us all sane!

Child won’t/can’t ride? Ask about Rider Switch. It saves you queuing twice. This happened a few times for us.

Eat a big breakfast beforehand you’ll need it with all the walking

Try to get all the rides done. Even the little rides are worth doing, the queues were much shorter in the evening and still magical.

Train beforehand. Especially if your husband walks at Olympic speed!!!

We set the kids’ gift shop budget BEFORE you go. We made them wait until the last day — best decision ever! They both chose something for keep sake to remember they’re first trip

Completely magical. ❤️🏰
Would we do it all again? Absolutely. 😂 by @vickyogden

14 years ago I met @vickyogden on the ice and here we are today as a family still on the ice. Whilst the weather was cold enough I made an ice rink in the garden for my girls! #makingmemories❤️ by @vickyogden

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU for all the love and kind messages

Charlie was our first fur baby and had been part of our family for over 13 years, so the last week has been incredibly hard for all of us. 😢

Daisy wrote the most beautiful poem for Charlie boy

Found this in the Range the girls loved it

Little George was searching for him on the first day and it was heartbreaking to see. He’s slowly adjusting though, and thankfully he’s even made a new little friend this week by @vickyogden

Goodbye my beautiful boy! Our hearts are filled with sadness today as Charlie sadly passed last night.

I can’t thank you enough for being the kindest most loving and playful boy.

Love you buddy boy. Sleep tight x by @vickyogden

Decided this was the year to embrace the magic of Disneyland. We left magical clues around the tree house we stayed in and surprised the girls with this… #makingmemories #disney #disneyland #paris by @vickyogden

Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife @vickyogden

There’s nothing more romantic than a kids theme park on your 12th year of marriage!

Vicky there is no one I would rather stand in a queue amongst undeodorised teenage boys with than you.

Love you more every day xxxx by @vickyogden
