On my mind lately: 1,5. Goal achieved: having a band performance at the bike shop (currently editing the video) ✅ 2. Amazing shot by @vickysavema from November 📸 3. 🍉🍉🍉 4. Kinda miss using packs not as intended, but somehow works 🎒 6. @sahel__cc’s second social ride was a success 🔦 7. One of my favorite beaches in Lombok: Lendang Luar, which is now closed because somehow it’s a private area ❓ 8, 9. First time riding with a prototype from one of my favorites, @thearthefact ❤️ 10. Sign that the rainy season in Lombok is almost over 🫶🏽 by @vickysavema

posting this as a reminder to self:
maybe don’t jump straight to 68km after not riding outside since November, but do get on the bike more!
yesterday I just... decided to go. all the way to Mataram and back. no plan. not enough snacks. full send.
bonked. hard. chatted to strangers [how you ask? well, let me tell you: scooters pulling up next to me and riding along side me for anything from 3-5 minutes.. only in Indonesia]. dodged monster trucks and potholes. and saw so much green along the way, even though I hardly ever left the highway. and honestly? the legs loved it even when the brain was screaming. I forgot how different outdoor riding feels. how much your whole body has to work — not just the legs but the focus, the road reading, the wind. there was a lot of headwind and uphill grinding on the way back. I’m back. kind of.
leg’s feeling it today, but in a good way! 📸 @vickysavema — taken 8 months ago,
the last time I was on this bike outside.
worth the wait.

also @corosglobal we need to talk,
my watch said 68km when I paused it. 👀 by @vickysavema
