Today I am feeling inspired & delighted to share these gorgeous rose wedding designs for a beautiful wedding at @notleytythebarn
On Friday what had to be on one of the hottest of days I got to create & install these beauties for a lovely couple Jess & Andrew, I wanted to capture their love story using their favourite David Austen roses, bluebells & Lavender. Andrew’s proposal to Jess was made in the bluebell woods at Ashridge so very romantic. The choice of roses was key & holds a lot of sentiment & love.
The bouquets, buttons holes & centre pieces, ceremony & top table design incorporated @davidaustinweddingroses such as ‘Constance’ & ‘Keira’, accompanied by other beautiful accent roses such as avalanche & spray roses. I used different varieties of eucalyptus & the designs were finished with silk bluebells as they are out of season & to finish I used local fresh lavender. I made bluebell posies for the aisle chairs so as Jess walked down the aisle it felt like being in the bluebell woods. I’ve had a sneak peek at some of the professional photos & they look amazing so will hopefully able to share soon. Here’s some shots I took after setting up 😀💐
Thank you to @florismart_ for supplying the beautiful flowers & foliage
