International dance day is big for us dancers. We all took up dancing for a reason. I took dancing to learn a few salsa moves for my sister’s wedding and would leave afterwards. I fell in love dance and have stayed and it’s taken me on a rollercoaster. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world and even though I had a lot of ups and down because of it. Losing a member of the family hurts. It’s never easy. The dog I found a few months ago, honey is gone. She passed away over the weekend in North Carolina living with my parents. Having found her a few months ago with my brother wandering in Staten Island. She was only with us about almost 2 months. I can take solace she passed away in a home with love, care and people that loved her. I can live with that. Even though I no longer work in animal rescue, but this loss won’t affect my spirit for helping an animal when in need.
