El pasado domingo fue un día precioso, nos llevamos 2 premios en el @festivalpilasencorto!! Disfruté muchísimo escuchando las reacciones de los niños y niñas que estaban allí viendo MATCH, esas personitas auténticas, sin filtros, que no pueden reprimir sus comentarios o emociones. Los mejores espectadores.

Muy feliz de recibir estos dos premiazos, y más sabiendo que competíamos contra más de 1200 cortometrajes, algunos de los cuales están en la carrera de este año por los Goyas. Sin palabras!

Resumen: en 3 meses MATCH lleva 43 selecciones oficiales y 10 premios.

-BEST SCRIPT AND BEST SHORT FILM-
Last Sunday was a beautiful day, we won 2 awards at the @festivalpilasencorto!! I really enjoyed listening to the reactions of the boys and girls who were there watching MATCH, those authentic little people, without filters, who cannot repress their comments or emotions. The best spectators.

Very happy to receive these two awards, and even more so knowing that we were competing against more than 1,200 short films, some of which are in this year's race for the Goyas. Speechless!

Summary: in 3 months MATCH has 43 official selections and 10 awards.

Fotazas que hizo Ruth el 2 de diciembre durante el pase conjunto de cortos gaditanos en El Puerto de Santa María. Fue una noche mágica, de verdad, porque más de 500 personas viendo y aplaudiendo tu trabajo, no tiene precio.

“Happy” - Directed by Víctor Basallote

Víctor Basallote is a director, screenwriter, and producer from Seville, currently based in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz (Spain). He has eight short films that have been distributed and awarded at various international festivals. He has worked as an assistant director on numerous short films and four feature films.

His previous horror short film, titled “Match,” had an impressive festival run, with 125 selections and 17 awards. “Match” was screened at prestigious festivals such as Mórbido, Feratum, and Popcorn Frights.

He is currently beginning distribution for “Happy,” his new and promising horror short film, and is also developing several feature films and series, including “El Cisma” and “Cuando la oscuridad te envuelve,” among others.
