A pinup 😁

I wasn't happy with how the figurine based on a Velvette cosplay by @kitty_monk_the_youtuber I showed the other day ( see linked reel ) was turning out so I redid the head from scratch and slapped the hair I had made for the old head on top just to see if I liked it better. The face took about 4 hours to get to this state.

Here is the next part of my anatomy sketch.

The references you see on screen are a combination of the female anatomy model by @ryankingslien that comes bundled with #zbrush2021 and diagrams produced by @anatomy4sculptors. The latter have published a book that I highly recommend to anyone needing artistic anatomy references I am not sponsored or anything I just think it's great 😁

Anatomy of a thin figure part 1 of ? I noticed that I tend to make figures on the thicc side so I decided to move out of my comfort zone this time 😁. The anatomy reference you see are snapshots from an anatomy model by @ryankingslien that comes for free with zbrush 2021.

Different views of a 3D model of an owl.
The animal is standing on a rectangular plinth making up about a quarter of the total height. Its wings are folded on its back and it's eyes are comically large for it's head which in turn makes up a third of it's body the overall creature gives
the impression of a friendly caricature. The feathers and wings are only roughly sketched out and the sculpture has the slightly irregular texture associated with clay sketches a traditional sculptor might make. The material is gray and gives the same matt look as plastiline or clay. by @victorcaceresing

An owl I sketched the other day 😁. I was inspired by @hey_a_cubed sketching exercises, where she opens #zbrush, starts deforming a ball in a pretty random manner and then models a creature inspired by the shapes she sees in the distorted mesh, in the same way one can see things in clouds or smoke.
I decided to start with a cube instead of a sphere because I wanted to imitate the process of carving a sculpture into wood or stone somewhat. That way the sculpt fits into the initial shape and I think the resulting object is probably more stable and easier to #3dprint or CNC because both traditional sculpture and 3d printing need to content with gravity and using that constraint may help me produce models that require less support material to make🤔
