With two shows to go… meet our creative team! Victoria is the Director and Co-Producer of TOTAL HORROR SHOW. But also the intimacy coordinator and basically the stage manager and choreographer and… ah, independent theatre! Victoria considers herself an actor/creator. She directs, acts, and intimacy coordinates for both TV and film, as well as theatre. She received her undergrad in Theatre at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She later trained at the Dell’arte School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake California where her love of clown, devised and ensemble based theatre was born. In Portland, OR, Victoria trained with Third Rail Rep as an apprentice for both acting and directing. She currently studies at The Groundlings, UCB LA, and is a member of the professional training program at @theatricum_botanicum in Topanga, CA where she studies classical theatre. Select directing credits include: Swipe (San Diego Fringe), Elevatory Therapy (Chapel Theatre Festival, Portland, OR), Uncle Vanya (Assistant Director- 21Ten Theatre, Portland, OR), Pinocchio, Seussical the Musical and Treasure Island (Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective- Portland, OR). When not directing, Victoria can be found baking bread, smelling the roses, taking naps, or eating pizza. #hff26 by @victoria.spelman
Enjoy these shots of my head 😎 As always, let me sell your toothpaste, hair products, cast me as a lovable, quirky friend in a hilarious sitcom, or make me a dystopian badass in the next hit HBO sci fi series. I am super open. 📸 cred : @headshotsbyida by @victoria.spelman
