2025 | in no particular order:
•finished both my seminary degrees 🥳🎓
•spent a lot of time at @loyalcoffee (over 530 hours, yes I kept track) ☕️
•celebrated 10 years of being on staff at New Life🎉
•spent a lot of time in the prayer room with my people @newlifenorth @newlifefriday 🤍
•got braces 😬
•saw Alaska for the first time 🏔️🦅
•walked over 50 miles through the high plains desert🏜️
•created some really beautiful memories with people that mean so much to me
•read 172 books 📚
•learned a lot about how two differing things can be true at the same time. One doesn’t cancel the other out. Faith is found and strengthened in that middle ground, in the tension. So don’t run from it…

(Let’s just pretend I posted this 7 weeks ago thank you very much. 🙃) by @victoria_ellen

✨2024✨
(Here’s a subpar video because I refuse to spend anymore time editing it.)
What a year. So many opportunities to grow and learn. I got the chance to preach for the first time (and then a few more times after that), I went on my first silent retreat and it was a holy and singular experience, knocked out seven more classes for grad school, read 113 books, spent a lot of time doing homework at Loyal, saw lots of dogs, drank lots of water, and had a lot of meaningful conversations.
Here’s to 2025 and all that this new year will bring 🪩🐶🤍

✨2023✨

What a year. So many memories and so many lessons. I started the year with a broken wrist and could barely function as a human. I had to take off from grad school to heal which made me so upset because I knew it would push back my graduation. But sometimes our bodies just can’t keep up with everything that we want for ourselves and that’s okay.

I changed jobs. I traveled more this year than ever before. I met some absolutely amazing people. I saw some incredibly beautiful places. I checked a few things off my bucket list.

I learned a lot about trust, compassion, and patience. (I didn’t perfect those things, just learned about them more). I had some of the most challenging and honest conversations ever. And I had some deeply formative moments with the Lord where He spoke to me in the exact way I needed.

I am so grateful for this past year and the people that I get to do life with. I’m looking forward to all the new lessons I’ll learn and memories I’ll make in 2024.

I can’t possibly fit everything that happened into one video so who knows. Maybe there will be a part two. These memories are sweet to revisit 🥹 taken in 2023 by @victoria_ellen
