✨🍂 its that ✨ magical ✨ time of year when the trees 🌳 shed & the leaves 🍁fall like orange 🧡, yellow 💛 and red ♥️ confetti 🎊. Temperatures are a bipolar menopausal woman who can't decide if she wants to wear a cute tiny skirt👗 or chunky knit 🧶 sweater, & I'm really ok with that 🧚🏼‍♀️💃🏼

I've always prided myself on my long white blonde hair, never would I have thought my hair was such a HUGE part of my identity. Through mental health issues and just wanting to have healthier hair I swore off chemicals and using heat every day ( heat is ok sometimes, with a heat protector). Obviously my blonde grew out and my natural dark blonde grew in, I loved it at first, it was a nice change... But it wasn't me. I wasn't feeling myself anymore, no matter how much makeup and shit I piled on, I still didn't like the reflection in my mirrors. The thought of having my hair done after so long felt like failure, like I was going back on everything I swore I wasn't going to do anymore.
Once I saw myself, with my blonde hair back after so long all those negative thoughts went right out the window! I feel like a new human but also like myself again if that makes sense.
I'm sure my hair took some damage, but it's not falling out lmao, hopefully my hair growth stays on track!
