Welllll when the medicine cabinet needs to go in this week and there are no other options + since it was supposed to NOT be black I found myself gilding this medicine cabinet mirror frame and I’m quite pleased knowing it will look so much better than what was originally planned. Just making thing work by making things better !! I also now want to gild everythinggggggg because ugh the satisfaction is divine taken in Southampton, New York by @victorianinette

I know I do a lot of DIY at home in during my in between hours of life and work, but Sometimes I forget to share a lot of the fun, fabulous & magical things I get to do and make and create for work! This little powder room entry is SO special!!! We had this stunning mural made and wanted to be able to show it off when not in use… our custom door has glazing that is clear when electrified and “fogs” up when turned off. It is so friggin cooool! @victorianinette_interiordesign & @highhilldesign .

She got a good one. Did a little extra digging later - turn out I found a 18th century repoduction of a library ladder ! Solid mahogany that was sold exclusively for Scully & scully! Just a delight ! From their website “Exclusively at Scully & Scully. An authentic reproduction of the 18th-century steps used in the library of a grand manor house, this faithful replica can also be used to display prized plants or collectibles. Handcrafted in England of solid mahogany with solid brass pegs and hinges. Folds for easy storage.” by @victorianinette

I mean for the amount of times I say like it’s wild. Hearing myself also makes me laugh. Just because I’m seeing it from a different perspective anyways just blabbering here instead of talking to myself all day. But hiiiiiiiiiiiii also lol I’m in a good mood. Oh the ups and downs of being me. I definitely find myself getting excited and then just going for things and then there are the darker harder parts where I get quiet hunker down and just do what’s needs to be done. Trying to break the pattern of my moods and seasonal feelings that I go through. Whatever you know. It’s all good by @victorianinette

I’ve spent most of the past several months behind my desk or on jobs sites. But I between all of that I’ve been trying to get to the beach, spend time with dear friends and family and just take some deep breaths. My studio has been pure chaos and borderline acts as a receiving warehouse at times. One day I’ll be excited to share a real transformation but for now it’s just real life. by @victorianinette

August just means being at the beach as much as possible here in southampton. Dinner, sure. Beach chair on the sandbar, sure. Late nights with the kids, side. Going to sleep with sand in my hair slightly sunburnt, sure. Work? What’s that? taken in Southampton, New York by @victorianinette

Belive it or not - I find at least one four leaf clover anytime I’m in the grass this is by far the biggest one I’ve seen - other than that I survived peak install season, only a few bruises minor, figuring things out on the fly, playing with textures and pretending my studio is also a part time receiving warehouse oh! And Matt and I got dressed up and went out to support the Paul Koster Memorial benefit dedicated to helping local graduating senior reach their goals of furthering their education after high school! Pretty happy about that and that we won The Hamptons Mahjong set, an Apperol kit from Herbert Rist & a delightful gift bag from round swap! Summer here we come! Got to enjoy fireworks & then managed to make it home safely with the storm the other night, thought about getting a boob job, got a push up bra instead. by @victorianinette

A little late but whatever - US open 2026 with my girls! Thank goodness for skirts with shorts & wide brim hats. Nevermind my non golfing golf burn and the chaos with of all of New York at Shinnecock. Fun was had. ⛳️ taken in Shinnecock Hills Golf Club by @victorianinette
