– MACHUCA –

The name came from a random Wisin y Yandel meme I saw “Machuca papá” lol and for the lyrics, I sampled a random video of a Brazilian artist singing Machuca, and it turns out it actually means “to cause pain” in Portuguese, which I thought was pretty cool

The vocals gave me a tribal kind of vibe, so I built the whole track around that tribal techno groove.

Again thanks @disco.tico for the atwork eres una lacraaa mi bro

You can hear it on Spotify and SoundCloud. Link in bio. Hope you like it 🔥

This is the first time I’ve ever recorded myself mixing for more than 30 minutes… all live, no edits.

I made some mistakes here and there and some people told me I should clean it up in Ableton… pero f it me da ladilla jajajaa I’d rather use this series to track my progress and keep it real. I’ll post a mix every week

This one’s all about hypnotic and groove techno. I think it was at 143 bpm

I’ll always post the tracklist because that’s what music is about… discovering and sharing:

@bailey_ibbs – Break Theory

@djdextroofficial – Covil dos Abutres

@hemka_music – Eternity

@humansafarimusic – Phantom

@dannywabbit – Akira

@djdextroofficial – Beautiful Day

@chlaer_ – Neo Tokyo Vision

@kamen.oss – Cobalt

@baugruppe90 – Torx

@baugruppe90 & @timrauschsound – Gelee

@humansafarimusic – The Labyrinth

Thanks if you take a listen :) more to come, every week.

These last two years I have been focused on my two biggest passions: bjj and techno. It feels feting that my first track, Ashi Garami, is dedicated to the gentle art that changed my life!

I had this one sitting in the back burner for a while, but now I feel is the right time to start sharing my music.

Bjj is teaching me that consistency and discipline are the only way to make things happen. I might be a blue belt on the mats, but when it comes to production, I still feel like a white belt lol but that’s the beauty of it. Just showing up and trying to get 1% better every day.

Thank you @disco.tico for the artwork, you are really sick bro!!! Also @symphonylab.rec for the release.
