Today is my big 38, so I'll share something with you

Back when I started this account in 2018, I had only planned for it to be a meme account. I was reluctant to show myself because it would put me in a more vulnerable position for trolls to come at me (because racism is still a thing).

One day, my cousin asked me why I don't ever post myself and advised me to start doing so because REPRESENTATION MATTERS. At the time, I didn't know many other prominent black animal rights activists. So I began to post myself more and despite my memes being 🔥, there was more engagement on posts where I'd show my face

Yea, the trolls came out but I realized that none of them mattered because I would get positive feedback from other vegans who look like me. It made me realize that what I do doesn't only help the animals but members of the community as well

So thank you all for being here and supporting this page. It means a lot to me 🙏🏿❤️
