dog and man in LA - 2024

shot on 35mm BW Film, Nikon F2, Printed and scanned

film is cool!

i was in LA with a few friends and saw this guy with this big dog in a rite aid and it was the coolest thing i’ve seen.

it’s messy and imperfect and i think that’s great

i find life to be more complex then that no?

this song-not intentionally- has a lyric that resonates with me,
“i gave them my soul, but they still treat me like a boy”
i feel like it’s self explanatory, but i know some people treat me differently vs they do cis women, and ik i can’t do anything really about it. some people just suck.

but who knows, if i give up on living
know that i still love u <3

Sam on 5/27/2024.

shot on canon r5c, 18-55mm 3.5f stock lens.

don’t really take photos much anymore, mainly been filming things, but it was a really nice break to create with @911.rats !

they were an absolute pleasure to work with and it was nice seeing and talking with them after so long

(re-upload because i didn’t mean to put a song to this 💀)

Roy is simply going to do his laundry, and he’s none the wiser to an otherworldly presence set to have him stuck in a time loop. On the most boring day ever.

This is my final for my film class at AVC. I think it’s my best work in that class. hope you find it fun :)
