Excited to share the story behind our most meaningful and global collab yet!

While bringing internet connectivity to Ghana last year, we met a talented local artist named @khophypoke at one of the schools we visited. He asked if we could help manage his music career, and we promised to do whatever we could.

Fast forward a year later, and we’ve created numerous songs together!
This specific track came together across borders: written at 2 a.m. by Viet while in Kenya, sent to Khophy in Ghana, and recorded just hours later.

We’re dedicating this song to Sarah R. and the incredible kids at @rafikicastle . Sarah founded Rafiki Mwema to give children who have survived trauma and abuse a safe place to heal.

Please show your support for this vital work by visiting rafikimwema.com and streaming the track! 🎶✨

A truly global effort

In all the places I’ve been blessed enough to travel to, Kenya has the happiest people I have ever met. They might not have the most resources, but they have the most joy, the most smiles, the most fun, the most dance moves, the most pride, and the most respect for one another.

Growing up and learning from my parents who were refugees and came to America with absolutely nothing, I know what it’s like to struggle. I will make it my mission to help empower and inspire as many people as I can. If I can do it, you can do it, together we can do it.
I’ve been inspired to start our own talent agency called @kipajimac. In Swahili, kipaji means talent, gift, or aptitude, and I believe everyone on this planet has a special talent. I hope to do my best to bring it out of them.
Follow @kipajimac or visit kipajimac.com for more info. Any support or help is much appreciated! 🙌🖤🫡

Even though our latest mission to Kenya was not to go on safaris I think it’s important for us humans to see the beauty of a country and feed our souls before we serve others and dedicate our energy, time, and joy to help the underserved communities and begin our work. ✨🖤🦓🦒🐘🦅🦏🌍
