$An endless golden sea of fog stretches to the horizon, broken only by individual treetops that emerge like dark islands — the rising sun bathes everything in liquid gold! From the drone perspective, the wave-like surface of the sea of fog is visible, shaped by the flow of cold air. The mountains at the horizon appear as delicate silhouettes above the haze. VIEWFINDR's fog height forecast shows exactly at what altitude the fog ceiling lies, and the Golden Clouds parameter predicts the warm morning light — the perfect combination for drone flights over the golden sea of fog. Breathtaking from @silent.swiss.scapes! Thank you @silent.swiss.scapes for using the VIEWFINDR App\! 📸 by @viewfindr_app$

$A mighty castle towers on a rocky spur above an autumnal valley filled with dense morning fog — the rising sun bathes the horizon in orange and pink! From the drone perspective, you can see how the fog fills the valleys and depressions while the hilltops emerge like islands. The autumnal-colored trees in gold, orange and red add bright accents to the foggy landscape. VIEWFINDR's fog height forecast shows exactly at what altitude the fog ceiling lies — crucial to know whether the castle will tower above the fog. The Afterglow parameter predicts the delicate morning colors. Majestically captured by @wimair.at! Thank you @wimair.at for using the VIEWFINDR App\! 📸 by @viewfindr_app$

$Dense fog envelops a coastal forest with slender, windswept beeches, while a person stands on the cliff path at the edge of the steep coast and the sea shimmers through the haze — advection fog at the coast! The moist fog flowing in from the sea meets the cool coast and dissolves the tree silhouettes into various shades of gray. The mighty beech trunks of the coastal forest rise like columns from the autumn foliage on the ground. The diagonal line of the steep coast separates the fog-shrouded forest from the pale sea. VIEWFINDR's Fog forecast shows when advection fog forms at the coast — when moist marine air condenses over cooler land and transforms coastal forests into a mystical dream world. $A medieval castle complex hovers like a mirage over a dense sea of fog, while the sky glows in delicate pink and blue of morning twilight — fairy tale castle above the clouds! The inversion layer holds the fog exactly below the castle walls and makes the complex with its towers and walls appear like a floating island. The autumn-colored trees on the castle slope emerge from the fog and create a warm color accent. VIEWFINDR's Fog height forecast shows exactly at what height the fog top lies — crucial to know whether the castle will hover above the sea of fog. The perfect planning basis for these fairy tale fog images. Dreamlike by @schiefer77! Thank you @schiefer77 for using the VIEWFINDR App\! 📸 by @viewfindr_app$

$The silhouette of a city skyline stands out before a sky in soft pink, salmon, and violet, while curved cirrus clouds draw elegant streaks across the evening sky — Afterglow with feather clouds above the metropolis! The high cirrus clouds at over 8000 meters altitude consist of ice crystals that catch the remaining light of the setting sun particularly long and transform it into warm pink and orange tones. The river reflects the warm colors and the bridge connects the shores under the color spectacle. VIEWFINDR's Afterglow parameter forecasts these delicate pastel colors — when high cirrus clouds catch the last sunlight and transform the sky above the city skyline into a soft painting. $A person stands at the end of a frozen wooden boardwalk gazing into dense blue fog above a winter lake — solitude and silence in a single image! The boardwalk leads as a perfect sight line directly into the nothingness of the fog. The frost-covered branches frame the image from above. The ice on the planks and reed grass at the shore show deep winter. The monochromatic blue tinting intensifies the cold. VIEWFINDR's Fog forecast shows when this dense winter fog forms above the lake — perfect for such minimalist, atmospheric shots. Beautifully composed by @jochen_d.berg! $A massive aurora corona explodes above an arctic fjord — the green and violet curtains converge directly above the observer and reflect in the water! The corona structure shows a particularly strong geomagnetic storm where the aurora curtains radiate fanning out from the zenith in all directions. The illuminated coastal city and snow-covered mountains provide an earthly frame to the cosmic light show. VIEWFINDR's Clear Night forecast is the absolute basic requirement for such aurora experiences — only a cloud-free sky grants a view of the full extent of this spectacular corona structure. Absolutely magnificent from @markgriess! Thank you @markgriess for using the VIEWFINDR App\! 📸 by @viewfindr_app$

$The low sun touches the horizon above a partially frozen lake — winter sunset in warm gold tones! The ice surface reflects the warm light and creates fascinating patterns where open water and ice meet. The dark tree silhouettes at the shore frame the image. The mountain on the horizon to the right with its snow cap gives the image depth. VIEWFINDR's Cloudless sunset/sunrise parameter shows when the atmosphere is clear enough to see the sun disk cleanly on the horizon — and the ice on the lake reflects the colors beautifully. $Historic windmills stand as elegant silhouettes on the shore of a mirror-smooth body of water, while the cloudless sky glows in delicate pink, violet, and orange of morning twilight and delicate ground fog hovers over the water — Dutch morning stillness! The immaculate reflection doubles the iconic mills and the pastel-colored sky. The morning fog, hovering just above the water surface, enhances the mystical atmosphere. The various color bands in the sky show the classic twilight progression from warm orange at the horizon to cool blue at the zenith. VIEWFINDR's Fog forecast shows when ground fog forms over the flat polders, and the cloudless sunrise parameter forecasts clear pastel light — the combination makes such dream images plannable. $The same mountain chapel, this time with a luminous green aurora band winding across the snow-covered Alps — 557.7 nm oxygen emission now dominates the sky in vibrant green! Magenta and violet from higher emission layers frame the green band. The chapel with its bell tower stands as a timeless anchor point before the cosmic spectacle. The snow reflects the colored lights. VIEWFINDR's Clear Night forecast shows when cloud-free windows occur in the mountains — tracking the dynamic development of the aurora over hours requires sustained clear visibility. $The rising sun sends a perfect sun star through a natural sandstone arch, revealing an endless desert landscape with rock towers and canyons — a geological window into another world! The underside of the arch glows in intense orange and red as direct sunlight makes the sandstone glow. The layers and erosion patterns in the rock tell millions of years of Earth's history. The rock towers and mesas in the background step back in the morning twilight. VIEWFINDR's cloudless sunrise parameter forecasts clear morning light — when the sun shines exactly through the rock arch and bathes the sandstone in flaming orange. Iconic by @timo_zilz! $Blooming lavender rows extend in perfect fleeting lines to an old wooden barn, while the sky glows in warm gold, pink and violet of the sunset and loosened clouds frame the color play — summer evening above the lavender field! The violet flower rows create a fascinating color harmony with the warm sky. Delicate ground fog or haze above the rows enhances the dreamlike mood. The loosened cumulus clouds catch the last sunlight in various gold and pink tones. The solitary tree next to the barn provides a perfect counterpoint. VIEWFINDR's Golden Clouds parameter forecasts these warm light breakthroughs — when the setting sun breaks through loosened clouds and bathes the blooming summer landscape in golden light.
