Philippines have my heart 🌴💚

island hopping, turquoise water that doesn’t look real, chaotic jeepneys, and the friendliest people I’ve met on this entire trip - and yes, it’s a genuine flight-hub-friendly hop if you’re already in Southeast Asia (Manila and Cebu both have solid connections).

✨ My biggest tip: base yourself in El Nido first

Here’s what made it unforgettable:

💚 Island hopping tours are fairly cheap and worth every peso
💚Street food > resort food, every single time
💚Bring cash — a lot of the smaller islands don’t do card at all

I came for the beaches and left thinking about the people way more than the views. This one’s staying with me for a while.

ad | between work trips and solo adventures, I’ve tested a lot of long-haul essentials. This is what made the final cut - including one item that has a name. Which are yours? ✈️

✨ My biggest tip: the “motion sickness tablets as a sleep aid” trick will change your long-haul life, I’m not even a little motion sick, I just like sleeping through hour 6.

Work trip or solo trip, the kit doesn’t change anymore. Tag your travel buddy who needs to see this before their next flight 💌

The small things that make me remember a hotel long after checkout: a personal note with my name, a coconut before I’ve found the key card and views that don’t need explanation - oh and don’t forget the pillows - they can be a game changer!None of this costs much, but all of it makes me want to come back.

my kind of therapy ✈️🌎

Travel has always been so much more to me than just seeing new places. It’s the feeling of stepping out of everyday life, being somewhere completely new and suddenly feeling more present again.

New cultures, conversations with strangers, food I’ve never tried, places I’ve never seen before - all those little moments somehow reset something in me 🤍
