Some moments cannot be fixed. They can only be shared.

When Jesus arrives at the tomb of Lazarus, he already knows what he is about to do. He knows resurrection is coming. Yet before he speaks a miracle, he stands with those who are grieving. He allows their sorrow to move him. Then comes the shortest verse in Scripture: “Jesus wept.”

Perhaps love is not always asked to solve a problem. Sometimes it is simply asked to show up.

Sometimes the longest distance isn’t measured in miles.

It’s measured in trust.

Some acts change the world.

Most don’t look like they do.

Jesus doesn’t point to dramatic achievements in Matthew 25. He points to ordinary faithfulness.

A meal shared.
