POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
@elephantandco_india and @cobblerandcrew have both been named in Tatler Best India 2026’s Best 20 Bars in India, the inaugural edition of the list.

With every brand in our portfolio, we try to push boundaries and bring something new for Pune.

We built these brands from the ground up - falling, learning and growing every step of the way.

To see that work recognised at this level is an honour for everyone who has been part of the journey.

Congratulations to our teams, and to the people of Pune who’ve loved us and supported us all along.

And a big hug to all our friends on the list.

Special mention to @jyoti.kumari and @thepeoman for a true Pune representation and keeping our Whatsapp groups active last night!

Thank you @tatlerasia for this recognition.

Experienced a different Bali this time, mostly fascinated by the intent, and the actual work people are putting behind the brands they are building here.

We started @gather.in.pune two years ago. It was our first food-forward brand in the @together.hospitality portfolio, and we were nervous. We finally had a big kitchen to work with, and @hanozeshroff @chefabolfallah and the whole team wanted to do it justice.

We launched it softly. It was a hard stretch for the city around the Porsche accident, and being loud felt wrong - Gather became the quietest brand in our portfolio.

Quiet is underrated. Without ever shouting about itself, Gather built a community of families who come to eat together.

Last week it turned two. With our bars, we throw big anniversary parties. With Gather, we wanted to do something more aligned with its philosophy of ‘everyone deserves to have a good time.’

So we hosted our first charity dinner. We invited 120 of our regulars, put our new menu out for first tastings, and asked them to contribute directly to Suhrud Mandal, a 50+ years old NGO working with children with hearing disabilities.

We could have sent the money to the NGO ourselves, but we wanted our regulars to give it with us, not watch us do it.

The teams ran the whole evening. Together we raised about 2.5 lakhs!!! All of it will be donated directly to the NGO.

Two years in, this felt more like Gather than any party would have.

This also marks the beginning of our CSR journey!

When we were starting Gather, we were feeling very vulnerable. Choosing to not scale our OG brand, and deep diving into a new kind of a challenge with conviction and patience.

In hindsight, we are grateful that we didn’t rush into things!

The most useful thing my Symbiosis degree gave me was a network of some of the best lawyers across every domain.

This past year taught me the true worth of two professions: lawyers and doctors. Both to be engaged sooner, than later.

Why don’t we get this as life advice//networking advice!

May you only ever hang out with them as friends. May you never have to engage one in their professional capacity.

But if you do, I hope the person you call is a badass you trust. by @vijeta_sing

Traveling has been an integral part of my ideation process, even before the Instagram days.

For most of my life that meant elsewhere. The far, the unfamiliar, the exotic.

Last year, I realized I had seen more of other people’s countries than my own. So I started travelling more in India, reading more on it too!

I skip the forts and the photo stops. I go looking for workshops, bougie tour guides, the person who has done one thing for thirty years and listen to their stories.

This month it was Jaipur. I come back from these trips the way I come back from a good brief. Full of stories, sharper on what is real and what is performance. People call it a holiday. I think of it as fieldwork.

3 cool things I saw in Jaipur ⬇️

1 - @thepdkfstore at the City Palace. Women artisans train in gotapatti and block print, then sell what they make.

2 - @anantaya_jaipur, @ayushkasliwal and @geetanjali_kasliwal designing Indian craft for a global shelf, and taking care of their artisans.

3 - @nativecocktailroom and @primitivejaipur, run by my friends @singhkaran92 and @simran59. They commissioned Indian artists for original artwork, glasswork and woodwork across both venues. Not prints, not licensed decor. Actual commissions!

Restaurants as art patrons. I know exactly how much easier the other route is. This is the harder decision. taken in Jaipur, Rajasthan by @vijeta_sing

Last week, after the panel, we hosted the @30bestbarsin and Stirred Up teams at @izipizi_street.

A big thank you to @rumdoodle69, @radhakrishnan_mw, @arnesh.ghose and @ashulisaini for taking the time to join us. Also, shoutout to @nehakhilnani and the @connektingdotsindia team for relentlessly working with us to put Pune on the map of Indian hospitality.

If any of you are ever in Pune, do come check out @izipizi_street

PS - Do not miss me yapping away with @nehaanand about a completely non-food related matter.

@rareideas.in was briefed to create a Pan-Asian restaurant brand. What they built instead was a contemporary Southeast Asian street, and the decision to reframe the brief entirely is where @izipizi_street ’s brand logic begins. The founders had traveled extensively across Southeast Asia. What stayed with them was not a particular cuisine or a specific city. It was the energy of food, retail, and ordinary life operating within a single shared environment. Capturing that required a fundamentally different kind of brand thinking. Last 5 months were as messed up as it could get for me, but as I am growing older, I am learning to surrender when things are not in control.

I managed to have the best and the worst time together, by gracefully compartmentalising different parts of my life in different boxes.

This is all the dump of the good-box.

Somewhere between a late-night craving and a solid dinner plan, you’ll find @izipizi_street in Kalyani Nagar. 🥢

A hidden South-East Asian street experience that brings hawker culture to the city.🍜
