Happy 17th Birthday Rishi! Proud of the handsome gentleman you have turned out to be..caring ,dedicated, hardworking and passionate about life...admire your resilience n work ethic and your readiness to help your mum everyday with mundane tasks no matter how tired you were with rigors of your studies ...each n everytime with a smile through all my health struggles from such a young age and it has been a tough journey....thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You have been my sunshine and I cherish countless moments spent with you, our daily endless conversations about life, movies ,food, love for cookies n icecream, die-hard Arsenal soccer fan, music, fiery debates, running errands n chores,educating n helping your primitive mum million times with simple technology. ...u never said no.

Its been a privilege n honor to be your mum n I wish n pray for your good health, success n happiness in whatever you do in life..may god shower you with blessings.. i love you so much...cant believe how time just flew and this may be your last birthday at home before u head off to univ next year...what a beautiful journey...rohan, mum n dad are better just having you in our lives...u n Rohan r truly the joy n light of my life, my anchor n u kept me going....hugs n kisses..love u my son... a very Happy Birthday Rishi !

Privileged to be a mum and thankful for each day given to raise my boys and see them grow into resilient, responsible young men with a passion for life be it learning, food, sports,music or movies. Time flies so fast . From babies to KG , school... Rohan is now in 2nd yr Medicine and Rishi final year of high school. It is enotional when kids leave for univ and then come home for holidays. Hangimg on to each moment..Summer in full swing as both boys in Co-op/ internships. Journey of sacrifice, hard work and commitment ... by @vikaspuja

Happy 19th Birthday Rohan! This is your first birthday away from home in Univ. May God always bless you with wisdom, empathy, happiness, good health and friendships... time flies... and I miss all those precious moments watching you grow up... it feels like I just brought you home from the hospital... it is an honor and privilege to be your mum... always remain kind and stay true to yourself! Your generosity and contribution no matter how small towards Rohan medical school tuition fee would be greatly appreciated and help him in his journey to becoming a doctor.

As the new school year starts, I have am anxious ,scared at same time, as my eldest son Rohan leaves home to start 1st year Medicine,his long time goal, at Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin.

His commitment and determination to his studies in school and hard work of IB curriculum paid off. He stood first among all York Catholic district schools and won Governor General Award for highest average 100%. His passion, empathy as a volunteer at the hospital for two years, leadership qualities as President of clubs and mentorship to his peers and friends makes me proud to have shared these years with him and watched him grow to be an intelligent,compassionate young man with a calling to try and help everyone . His devotion and responsibility to his younger brother fills my heart with pride to have raised such caring and responsible boys.

What a journey despite toughest challenges through my cancer and his father's illness and surgeries. His maturity and resiliance to face this from a young age and still excel in so many things amazes me. As a mother it was not easy, countless hours spent in parking lots, waiting for soccer, swimming, basketball sessions, music lessons,club meets ,chess,school pick and drop for 15years,summer school and late nights chats as he studied till 2am , finishing papers and countless competitions. Amidst laughter, cries and teenage years, we got through it all. With heavy heart, I must now let go, as he starts next phase of his life as a young man on the brink of another long hard road ahead ,ten more years of studying Medicine and then Residency. It truly has been an honor to be your mum!
