German kindness at @hive_festival 🥲 that little support was so meaningful! I used to be a professional dancer for 17 years, but I still cannot quite catch the style that Germans dance to techno. I was shy before to ask to teach me, now I'm more confident, but they always tell me to dance how I feel. Which I do, but I want to feel the same bounce as then too 🥲 Still, I don't do it 100% same way, I have my own style, but one day I'll dance as Germans do. I love how all people dance as one 🤩 I love the joy, the rhythm, and the way it looks simple but actually it's not 🫠

Just recently realised it’s been 5 years for me in Switzerland 🇨🇭 I arrived here 11.08.2021 by car, carting my things from Barcelona, believing that I will build my family here. But this didn’t happen (and for better). The destiny of this country made me to work hard in my career and personal development, which I think was more sustainable for me at my age and life position, rather that to dive into family chores.

This country was tough with me and at the same time so supportive. I learned here SO MUCH, that I couldn’t even imagine: time management, determination, tolerance, business, polite conversation and email writing (sorry, I’m Slavic, we don’t have that basics), marketing, skiing, tennis, AI, recruitment, admissions, companies and industries, sustainability and more and more…

I had a chance to work in education, developing further my impact in this field. Now I work at a Swiss university, that I consider my home and family here, as they had my back in my worse time of my life.

Due to life circumstances I have applied to @hslu_luzern and successfully got in MscBA in marketing and online platforms, so in half a year I will get my 3rd higher degree. 🥲 And I confirm: Swiss education will be the one I’m the most proud of!

Also I met here many friends. It’s not true that you cannot find your people here! Here are so many nationalities from around the world that you can always find like-minded people or from similar culture. Although it’s true that it’s hard to become friends with Swiss people, but what can we do 🤷🏻‍♀️ after 30s they already have their local friends, which I completely understand.

The most important- SWITZERLAND IS NOT BORING. And I am here to prove it! 💪🏻
P.s: I think it’s a stereotype that was created by Swiss people for irresponsable foreigners not to come to their country 😜

It’s not just a flag, it’s a whole approach to live the life, the culture. The view to the world. After my divorce here in Switzerland, I realised this is my home where I am absolutely alone. I don’t how but I will build my future here. Because my soul is calm here and I feel harmony. When I have chaos inside, I need order outside to balance.
I love this country and I do my best to contribute in the society and be a nice educated immigrant 😇
