Stepping into *The Little Mermaid* musical was completely new territory for me—thrilling, challenging, and deeply fulfilling. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to the incredible dedication and artistry that theatre demands. I’ve gained a newfound respect for every performer and creative involved. Being part of this production has been a priceless experience—one I’ll carry with me for life.

To my amazing castmates, thank you for your talent, support, and the inspiration you gave me every step of the way. To my friends, family, and group mates who came out to support me—your presence meant the world.

A special thank you to my sister-for-life, Yeli. You encouraged me from day one, stood by me through auditions and rehearsals, and believed in me so strongly that I couldn’t help but believe in myself too. I’m forever grateful.

And thank you Vy and Asuka for the beautiful flowers—they truly brightened my day.

The Dress She Wore, Now Mine

You wore it once, your joy ablaze,
A bride in bloom, a radiant hue.
And now I wear it on my day—
The red, the bold, the fire... like you.

You passed not just a dress to me,
But moments stitched in sacred thread—
Of vows once made, of love once danced,
Now wrapped around the words you said.

In every ruffle, I could hear
Your laughter on those late night calls.
Your wisdom soft, your voice sincere,
The net that caught me when I’d fall.

You gave me more than beauty's grace,

Ten years it slept, a treasure kept,Gifted by an aunty dear,Who wrapped me not just in beauty bright,But counsel whispered clear.

Oh God, my King, my Anchor high,On wings divine I soared each test.When nights were long and hope ran dry,Your strength became my rest.

The frills cascade like waves of love,Like mama’s hands that never tire,Like papa’s prayers and counsel that kept me firm ,Their hearts have been my fire.

Each layer folds like their embrace,A thousand shields through storm and strain.They bore my weight with silent grace,So I could rise again.

My brothers, laughter in their stride,Their voices songs that lift my soul.Their presence like the frills that glide—They make me feel so whole.
