Earlier this year I got to collaborate with Berlin’s coolest film lab and shop @safelightberlin

Together we created The Film Folks: five original characters inspired by the people, cameras, and quirks that make the analogue world so unique. Each one celebrates a different way of seeing, shooting, and experiencing photography, creating a playful illustrations full of character.

Since we’re talking about analogue photographers I wanted to get in some of that analogue charm by drawing with pencils on paper and scanning the outlines, something I did regularly before I had a drawing tablet! So it was fun to go back to my roots.

To find out which persona matched you the best, check out @safelightberlin’s webshop in the merch category.

Thanks to Alessandro for this opportunity! by @vikunia_illustration

I wanted something like this ever since my phone started to remind me of birthdays on the wrong days. This print will never deceive you!

Who doesn’t love a big reveal? #crochet by @vikunia_illustration

Another spread for Kosmos magazine focusing more on the collaboration with natural resources. I got to draw myself in the garden 😃

Thanks again to Amanda and Siri @formal.settings 😘 by @vikunia_illustration

This is the first time I’m seeing my tapestry in full because it’s too big to hold up by myself. I estimate it took me about 50 hours to finish this but I was forced to take breaks since the yarn was sold out.

Crocheting big pieces like this is my absolute favorite thing. The process is seemingly endless and it’s so precious to me. I can’t wait to start a new one by @vikunia_illustration

I’m so excited I finally get to hold this issue of Danish magazine Kosmos. For the communism issue I was asked by the very skilled type-magicians Siri and Amanda of @formal.settings to create an illustration which interprets the idea of working together side by side while being intertwined. It’s been such a pleasure as always and especially since it also made it to the cover 😍 thank you S&A! by @vikunia_illustration

Seeing talented artists advertise gen AI tools makes wanna scream cry and throw up 😩 whatever happened to taking a walk if you’re stuck???

Which of these methods have you tried yet 😃 by @vikunia_illustration

Last location of my series about climate change is the city! Droughts are especially dangerous in places full of asphalt and cars and very little shade. People in the Netherlands started removing tiles from sidewalks to plant little garden beds which is a lovely and useful way of rebellion 😍 would you do this? by @vikunia_illustration

Part two of my series drawing scenery centered around climate change

I’ve been watching a lot of Below Deck Down Under, making me want to go on a super yacht. Maybe someone can invite me? I just want to go snorkeling and see some coral reef before it all dies due to raising water temperature 😩 by @vikunia_illustration

First of my new series of illustrations flexing my scenery-drawing skills until ADs recognize my talent 😝

Also, I wanted to express my climate anxiety and turn it into something nice looking that I can upload to this app’s data center 💦 by @vikunia_illustration
