Easing into a new year with showing myself on my feed for the first time ever! Incredibly proud to start the year off with having my very own studio featured in this months @homebeautiful magazine. With thanks to the amazing team of @ellelovelock @vickingsbury @katrina_yaxley for introducing me to @kingliving for this wonderful collaboration to start the new year! Very grateful and a wee bit emotional to see this in print! 2024 was exhausting behind the scenes, my husband and I had spent all our weekends rebuilding this beautiful space after the January 24 flood! A lot of tears, laughter and pure hard work to create a whole new space for me to work in, I’ll be sharing the entire space in the coming week, big thank you to @alexocreativestudio for being by my side for this special day and @jlsmakeup for making me feel confident enough to get in front of the lens and my amazing sister in law Robyn from @why_not_tiles for our beautiful tiles and loads of yummy dinners throughout 🥰❤️ by @villastyling

Home Feature: this month’s @countrystylemag thanks to @miadaminato

When we arrived on shoot day the mist was still hugging the rolling hills, ever so delicately burning away as the sun rose higher, I quickly jumped out to capture these beautiful moments, fleeting magical moments in nature that make my heart beat faster with excitement and anticipation of all the beautiful shots to create ahead.

Featuring in the latest edition of Country Style magazine, Louisa and Al’s stunning home is a simple form built from Australian materials, with a nod to New Zealand alpine architecture, as you can see every detail has been thoughtfully executed in this stunning design. #australian #australianarchitecture #alpine #landscape #architecture

Sharing one of my favorite full-home shoots to date - where the beautiful natural and sometimes diffused light did all the heavy lifting. ✨

Capturing a home from first light to golden hour is pure magic, but it takes a serious game plan to catch every space when the sun hits just right, especially when its sun in, sun out kinda day! #australia #australianarchitecture #architecture #bathroomdesign #photographer

Design, details, and golden light. Can’t wait to share more from the finished gallery! 📸💫

People often call me up and say I’m not sure if you capture my style of home... the truth is, I don’t shoot for a style. I shoot for a story. ✨

Even though it seems I only shoot coastal homes, I hear this often as well. Common misconception! 😊

This cute little Queenslander is a perfect example — from the soft creeping vine over the eaves, framing the outdoor shower, the worn timber steps, the picket fence someone clearly built with care. It’s not polished or perfect. It’s lived in. And that’s exactly the point.

Every home carries its own history — the way light falls through an old glass door, the plants someone’s tended for years, the small imperfections that make a house feel like theirs. My job isn’t to make every home look the same. It’s to find what makes each one different, and capture that and that’s something Ive always tried to do for every client over the years. There are so many beautiful homes I’ve had the pleasure of capturing…

So whether it’s a sprawling new build or a weatherboard cottage tangled in greenery — if there’s a story in it, I’m here to tell it for you. 📷✨ #queensland #homephotography #sunshinecoastphotographer #cottagecoreaesthetic #cottage

To photograph a space is one thing. To capture its essence is another.

Flow already held its own rhythm, light and intention. Louise understood that. She noticed the quiet pauses, the details easily missed, and the moments that make the home feel alive.

Her photographs feel authentic to the space because they don’t simply show what Flow looks like. They hold something of what it feels like to be there.

That, for us, is co-creation.

We made Flow. Louise made you want to step inside it.

HATCHER RESIDENCE - A key characteristic of a classic Queenslander is its distinct window design. Large casement windows, were designed with the purpose of capturing the passing breeze. Back in the day, glass was expensive, so instead of one large sheet, windows were constructed with smaller panes, which resulted in the multi-pane configuration which has become a visual hallmark of the classic Queenslander. It’s so refreshing to see that every room in this home home stayed true to the original design features, each space captures the breeze, frames the view and makes for a truly cosy and character filled home. #australianhome #queenslanderhouse #cottage #cottagecoreaesthetic #brisbanephotographer
