Here is Sue from The Last Thing He Told Me in episode 4! I got to do my first stunt, which was incredibly hard. And it looks like nothing. Much newfound respect for stunt choreography and stunt performers.
Also, we shot this in January of 2025 during the fires— I need to say that @jennifer.garner is not only a fierce actress, but an extraordinary human being and leader. I witnessed many gracious and generous acts of kindness in her down time. Not to mention super-stardom in action. Truly amazing human! And @angourierice is also delightful. Thanks, @hellosunshine and @dzmayer.

2016?

10 years ago I stopped my last IVF cycle in the middle to fly back to NJ to be with my father when he got diagnosed with bile duct cancer and moved to home hospice, dying in just a week.

This is a tissue box from his house. Probable from a high school production he helped out with, but also indicated a lot about his life at the time.

His house was full of hoarding and chaos. He was bankrupt and in the process of foreclosure on his dream home. He had been driving a decrepit duct-taped-together Audi to work at JC Penny’s just weeks before. I was afraid the power would get shut off on his oxygen machine when the nurse set it up.

It was all absurd and so much loss. David Bowie had just died. Prince died April 21st on his birthday that year. I was never going to be able to have a baby.

I wrote about it then, and consider writing about it some more.

I couldn’t find the words to speak at his funeral, but should have said what generous guy he was, and incredibly supportive of my acting. He played great music on the radio in the garage on the weekends, which is how I learned to love Jim Croce and Wings and Karen Carpenter. Not a bad way to be remembered.

His life kind of fizzled out like the quick extinguished ending of a sparkler. But his sparkling times were probably worth it to him. by @villepique

Getting ready for the holidays reminds me of rehearsing many, many high school choir, church choir and bell choir versions of Carol of the Bells. I got to actually play handbells on #APBio a few years back, thanks to @mikeobrien12345 letting the actors shine. I hope I shined. I hope I shone? The bell did.
