Take 1 of whatever this is that I wrote just now

A Little Bit of Water, A Little Bit of Love

You can come in but don't you mention my flower
Looking mighty sad in a dry flower bed
I realize I falter, I've learned the value of
A little bit of water, a little bit of love

You can come in but don't you mention the hour
You're staying up all night til the dawn's first light
And every hour you gotta, wake me up in service of
A little bit of water, a little bit of love

Everybody's built the same
Oh hey buddy what's your name?
I know just what you need
Down below and up above
To the termite and the turtledove
Give a little sip of water, and a little nip of love

You can come in but don't you mention my power
In the hall I got it all, and through the door you got it more
I'll give you what you wanna when you make a present of
A little bit of water, a little bit of love by @vilray

"Indifference" caught fire like nothing I have ever written and I am so incredibly moved by the incredible support from so many strangers on the internet. I hope you enjoy this barebones 3some of songs I tracked live in my sweltering living room with no fans and few clothes. I mixed them myself and made the album art while also planning a wedding 🥂. @mrmaster3000 mastered it all by @vilray

Edit: now on all the streaming services and vilray.bandcamp.com

Have you tried it yet?
"Indifference"
Works wonders for pain
My doctor explained it astutely
Said all tender hearts get acutely inflamed
The evening news upsets
"Indifference"
I switch to the game
The home team may lose absolutely
But I resolutely refuse to complain

I feel guilty but good
Care less than I should
Don't think about thinking deeper
I could worry for sure
But what's worry for?
Except to do more than nothing

Better than percocet
Indifference
Less fun than cocaine
But if I consider minutely
What difference indifference has made:
I can only state half-heartedly
That ever since my doctor started me
On a daily dose of apathy
I feel
I feel...

I feel empty but good
Dream less than I should
Don't dig all this digging deeper
I could worry bout war
But what's worry for
[if i never do more?] by @vilray

Little Bit of Water, Little Bit of Love ❣️ A pinch-me moment!

It’s rare in jazz that you get to play the tunes you love with the person who actually wrote them. Thankfully, @vilray wasn’t born in the Tin Pan Alley era 😍🥸

Written tonight! Maybe not quite as fast as AI but pretty fast 😏

Switch on DonJuan000
Ask him how humans make love
Kissing's a mystery
But Don knows the history:
The pleasure of perspirin'
From Kesha to Byron

Switch on DonJuan000
Ask him how slow is too slow
Are her hips too high
Are my lips too low
Ask Don cause Don will know

Back in antiquity
A lovelorn Greek did pray to Aphrodite
What an iniquity he wasn't born today
Or else might he

Switch on DonJuan000
And maybe figure it out
I think if she lies flat
And I stand tall...
Ask Don Don's read it all
Ask Don Don's read it all
