Livadia has been a year and a half in the making, but in some ways I’ve been working on it my whole life.

I’ve always been fascinated with jewellery, and with the idea that a precious object we wear can reveal something about who we are.

I started Livadia because I wanted jewellery that I couldn’t find. Pieces that felt immediately and intimately mine, that could transport me back to a place, a person, a feeling.

I wanted to give permanence to the ephemeral - light moving across water, the warmth of the sun, a memory you can’t quite hold onto - and give these fleeting notions a tangible form.

Most pieces begin as an idea, usually just as I’m falling asleep. Then I draw it, paint it, obsess over it, create it, and eventually wear it.

I’ve worked with incredible craftspeople around the world, experimenting with hand-carved intaglios, guilloché enamel and other centuries-old jewellery techniques, learning how to translate what lives in my head into something you can hold in your hand and wear against your skin.
