Me against the world.

Have you guys realized lately how adulting slowly starts to get to you?

When I was a kid, all I knew was: study hard, graduate, get a job, and you’ll be okay. But no one really taught me what adulting actually looks like.

You wake up, go to work, pay your bills, go home, sleep, and do it all over again.

That’s how I felt in my 20s. I was constantly juggling work, going out, partying, and socializing. I barely had time to rest because the extrovert in me always wanted to be around people and make the most out of life.

But now that I’m in my 30s, I find myself wanting to slow down.

I still work. I still talk to a lot of people. But my social battery feels like it’s always running on low. These days, I crave silence. I crave peace. I crave moments where I don’t have to explain anything to anyone.

So whenever I’m troubled or overwhelmed, I just want to stay home. And whenever I get the chance to be alone, I’ll gladly take it.

Adulting is hard. Some days, it really feels like me against the world.

But I’m also proud of myself because despite everything, I’m okay. I’m still here. I’m still learning. And most importantly, I’m still moving forward.

And to everyone who feels the same way I do, Hey good job. Look at where you are right now. You’ve made it this far, and that alone is something to be proud of. We may not have everything figured out, but we’re doing our best, and we’re still moving forward.

10KM DONE 🏃🏻

After 2 years, I’m finally back on the 10KM course as I joined the Good Governrun 2026.

This run wasn’t just about crossing the finish line, it was about standing for something bigger. We don’t just run; we run to represent good governance, accountability, and integrity.

As a graduate of Internal Auditing from FEU and someone who spent 6 years in the internal audit profession at RT&Co., integrity has always been one of my core values. It’s something I’ve carried throughout my career and continue to uphold in everything I do.

In a time when our country faces many challenges, I believe good governance starts with individuals who choose to do what is right, even when no one is watching. Every step today reminded me that real change begins with integrity.

Grateful to be part of a movement that promotes not only health and fitness but also the values our nation needs today.

Cheers to running with purpose, on the road and in life. God bless, the Philippines 🇵🇭

D-6 until The Good GovernRun 2026! 10KM isn’t new to me, but getting back into running means I still need to put in the work kasi mabilis na mapagod haha.

I was supposed to run 10KM tonight, kaso umulan, so I finished with 5KM instead. Still, a run is a run.

As June comes to an end, I can’t help but look back with a grateful heart. This Bali birthday trip was more than just a getaway, it was a reminder to pause, appreciate how far I’ve come, and thank God for His continuous provision and blessings. 💚

Over the past 10 days, I was able to explore different parts of Bali, experience its beauty, meet amazing people, and create memories that I’ll carry with me long after this trip ends. It gave me the space to reflect, recharge, and simply enjoy the present moment.

This year hasn’t been perfect. There were moments of doubt, uncertainty, and days when things didn’t go as planned. But looking back, I can see how every challenge carried a lesson and how God continued to provide and guide me through it all.

To my family and friends, thank you for all the birthday greetings, love, and prayers. Every message made my celebration even more meaningful. 🥰
