Wow, what an honor I will never forget - speaking on the steps of the NYS Capitol building surrounded by hundreds of medical professionals, advocates, caregivers, and patients to fight for the NY HEALTH ACT - a bill that would replace private insurance in NYS with a single payer system that covers ANYONE living in NY regardless of employment status, immigration status, race, gender identity, etc. Simply put, healthcare would center CARE, the way it should be and already is in EVERY other developed nation in the world. Please read up on it and have a conversation about it. The people united can never be defeated. Thank you to @pnhp_nymetro @caringmajorityrising and everyone who works everyday to get us closer to making this a reality. And to @michael_saruh for always supporting me at my side.
