The dream was never just a title—it was about building something that matters.

Seven months ago, I shared a vision on LinkedIn. It wasn’t a milestone I had reached; it was a destination I was determined to work toward.

This week, someone believed in that vision enough to send me a Forbes Under 30 nomination.

Whether my name ends up on the list is out of my control. What is in my control is showing up every day to build.

I’m building Waugh Street South—an AI advisory and engineering firm focused on helping businesses, especially in the financial sector, deploy AI that creates real value.

I’m launching Waugh Street Weekly to document the journey, share what I’m learning, and have conversations about the future of AI, finance, and entrepreneurship.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is this:

Don’t wait until you’ve “made it” to believe in your vision. Believe in it first, then build it every single day.

This isn’t the finish line.

It’s Day One.
