Majority of these dancers had never learnt about Ballroom or even how to vogue before so I am very proud of what they produced and all their hard work!
I remember the days before “Vogue/Voguing” looked like this on stage here in Aotearoa and all I wanted to do really, was accentuate how us voguers really feel on the floor getting our 10s.
From how we might start our 10s, to the catwalk, to the dip, to the breakdown.
Voguing is the language of Ballroom

I also wanted to reference one of the most iconic House performances (to me) in Ballroom.

@shrekmusicalaustralia 2026 TOUR, u r wrapped 🎭

What a ride! So much gratitude and so much learning. I feel very lucky and honestly, I had such a great time working hard, filling the toolkit and just enjoying telling this story alongside such a great team.

The whole cast was stacked, talent & heart 🤎
