…exploring TENDERNESS on May 15th.I started writing TENDERNESS during a time when I was in need of both receiving and giving honesty within some of the most important relationships in my life. In some of the moments of asking for tenderness, my request was rejected and/or diminished as a result of the way we can respond to emotional openness and vulnerability. The rejection was tough at times to process. During the process though, one of the most important lessons I learned is that even in moments of difficulty, it’s revolutionary and important to get comfortable with the practice of asking for TENDERNESS, kindness, understanding and love.
