Tomorrow is the closing reception for "Your Universe of Longing", a series of Monoprint-Painting-Drawings that I worked on between 1997-2024. They were layered and changed until they made a constellation of visual sense. This is the first time in my adult life that I have created a body of "art" that is not meant to be comics. They have opened the door to many more visual ideas. I am thankful for the wonderful random conversations throughout the week at Green Door Studio which have also inspired me. The closing reception is @agreendoorstudio Wednesday night, 05/29 from 7-9:30, 306 Millburn Ave, Millburn, NJ 07041 . Framed reproductions of "Eclipse 1", "Eclipse 2" and "Earthquake" are available at the gallery.

Each work was matted and framed at The Millburn Frame Shop. Wan made these works look pristine and I thank him.
The images are 8.75" x 11.75" the frames are uhhh... bigger.

On Friday I went to visit the brilliant cartoonist @pamwye and her insightful auto bio cartooning students at the amazing @graybees . Her incredible class's murals were all over the walls. by @vineshtein

thanks to everyone who came out to see the readings I did @arts14c They are a great organization which gave me a great studio and it was fun to have people come and visit. (And then sad to leave...) Last early morning wake up and look up this insane window in Jersey City. I will be moving out of arts 14c tomorrow, 30 more pages to go on my book. I've been here for 3 months and inked 38 pages, drank delicious coffee, walked by the water, and spent many hours with wonderful writers and artists and filmmakers. I will miss them but also we're not really that far away! Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Open studios. It was a pleasure reading to you. by @vineshtein
