Vineyard Worship exists to gather, equip, document and inspire a deep-rooted value for worship in the Church.

“We Lift You Up” was born in the local worshiping life of Vineyard Church of Central Illinois, a community experiencing a deep and tangible move of the Holy Spirit. Written by Kyle Howard, worship pastor at Vineyard Central Illinois, alongside members of his home church team, the song emerged from a place of honest worship, reflection, and reverence for the cross.

What began in a local church setting was later carried to the Vineyard USA National Conferences, where the song was recorded live with Kyle’s home worship team leading the majority of the recording and co-producing the moment together. The result is a powerful snapshot of what God is doing in a local church being shared with the wider Vineyard movement.

Lyrically, We Lift You Up invites listeners to imagine standing among the crowd on the day Jesus was crucified—to see the wounds, the suffering, the weight of the cross, and yet the unshakable holiness of Christ. It reflects on the reality that the Son of God left glory, endured humiliation and death, and bore the weight of sin so our relationship with God could be restored to intimacy, freedom, and hope.

Captured in the raw and unified sound of live worship, We Lift You Up is both a testimony of God’s work in a local church and a call for the global Church to remember, revere, and lift high the name of Jesus. Available now wherever you listen to music! 🙌 🤍

Around this time last year, we gathered together at the @vineyardusa National Conference and got to experience a beautiful moment of worship together at our worship leader meet up. We can't wait to see you all again so soon!

😭 🙌 may we never forget, especially on this Maundy Thursday, the whole point of why we do what we do. To worship him, glorify him, and remind each other of just how much we need him!

Don't dismiss the woman with two coins. 🤍

What if we paid closer attention to those in our churches who are giving all they have? We must remember that we are called to love and value the people that God places in front of us.

It's so beautiful to see Vineyard songs travel across the world and find their way into homes, churches, and quiet moments of devotion, becoming a language for people to pour out their hearts to God.

We love this beautiful cover of “Holy and Anointed One” from our friend Esther in the Netherlands. May it draw your heart back to Jesus today. 🤍 by @vineyardworship
