Throwback to WCC 2025 Cartagena, Colombia 🇨🇴 — November last year.

I went there as an @international_bartenders_iba IBA Observer Member, and honestly, I came back with so many memories. Watching over 60 countries from around the globe compete for the World Bartenders Championship crown was truly something special.

From seeing the flair and classic participants give their best on the global stage, to witnessing the preparation, pressure, passion, and discipline behind it all — it reminded me how beautiful this industry really is. 🫰🏾

Also grateful to have met so many legends and good people from the global bar community. Moments like this keep me grounded, inspired, and still learning.

Cartagena, thank you for the memories. 🙌🏾

There’s something therapeutic about watching her work with clay. One moment it’s just a lump of earth, the next it’s shaped with patience, focus, and intention.

Maybe that’s why pottery feels so peaceful and it reminds us that beautiful things take time.

Dear Abbi,

Known you for a good 5 years now. From the very first supper club till today, one thing that always stayed with me is your creativity, storytelling, and the soul you put into every single dish.

We’ve done shifts together, you on the food, me on the drinks — and over the years, I’ve honestly lost count of how many supper clubs you’ve done. I think I have attended most of them already. And somehow, every single one always felt different. Different cuisines, different ideas, different emotions, different experiences.

But one thing I’ll always give to you… your Thai dishes are something else! 🔥

Honestly, you are one of the most amazing chefs I’ve met. The way you express yourself through food and the details you put into every dish genuinely inspired me a lot in my own creative journey too.

And beyond the kitchen, you’re just such a jovial soul to be around. The laughter, the random moments with me and Lotus, the energy you bring, those are memories I’ll always cherish 🙌🏾

This post was supposed to happen long ago. These memories have been sitting in my gallery for years, and today felt like the right time to finally put them together.

So here’s a dedication to your Big 3 🌴

There’s something magical about watching someone truly appreciating coffee / tea for the first time.

I know there were times I didn’t show up properly…
times I didn’t understand you, didn’t keep my word,
and I shut down when I shouldn’t have.

And now I’m learning… slowly, day by day,
to be a better version of me.
To be more present, more consistent.
