Working this week at Arda Recorders in Porto, Portugal.

Mixing a record on one of my favourite consoles, The Neve 8068! One of the rarest and most famous consoles from the 70’s. Sounds incredible, even 50 years later!

Donovan Kingjay – Humble Way

Humble Way is a new 2026 release from Donovan Kingjay on the legendary Sir Coxsone label, bringing a conscious vocal touch to the UK roots and lovers rock tradition.

Kingjay delivers the tune with a smooth and controlled style, keeping the focus on the message and melody rather than heavyweight steppers pressure. It’s a warm vocal selection with a classic reggae feel, sitting comfortably between roots and lovers rock.

Released on 7” in June 2026, Humble Way is another fresh cut from a singer firmly connected to the UK reggae and sound system scene.
