It's funny, cause it's true!

We once played a show at a place called "the Art Space" up on Gloucester Mass. If you've ever seen the classic horror movie C.H.U.D, the place was owned by one of the writers of that movie. BUT the load in/out hallway was a staircase to the second floor with no landings, and the first floor must've had at least a 15 foot ceiling height. It felt like I climbed Mount Olympus with my bass rig.

About 20 years old, done by @onearmbanditpinstriping. This bass is getting redone soon. But this finish isn't getting touched.

I should've wiped the dust off before the pics, hahaha!

If this bass could talk... Haha! I bought her for, I think, $50 while working at a local music store back when I was 16. Started life as a metallic bright red fretted 5 string. Then I ripped her down and painted her black and bright blue (black neck and outside edge faded to blue on the body), then I wrapped her in duct and caution tape and ripped all the frets out. THEN 9/11 happened and I painted her with a crude American Flag design and she was my main your bass. Finally, I sanded the neck to natural wood, rattle canned the body flat black and all new chrome hardware. The stripes were done by the One Arm Bandit and that's how she's been for probably 20 years. Thinking of getting her playable again. I have a set of Seymour Duncan pickups that need a place to live. by @vinnie_see_no_evil

I was thinking of selling this baby cause I can't read the damn screen, but it's got too many cool effects. So I decided to hang onto it and with a little patience, I was able to setup a couple patches. I'll work with it more thus weekend and maybe record a few things.

When your wife sends you this picture she took from the house and says "no wonder your back always hurts".

@jephilosopher was awesome enough to let me jam on his tune. Consider this a teaser for an upcoming project. Also, go follow him! Super talented fellow RP Warrior!

The 12U North Smithfield Softball Team made it all the way to state finals in the Ocean State Cup Tournament. They fought hard every game and never let up and we are extremely proud of how far they've come! Even with with 8-10 loss in the Final, these girls were all smiles, knowing they were the first NS softball team to make it this far.
