Blind tasting is like going on a first date; you're never quite sure what you're going to get, but you're hoping it'll be smooth and full-Bodied😅

Bodegas Vizcarra JC Vizcarra 2016 🇪🇸🍷

Super complex, showing notes of ripe cherries, violet, tobacco, leather, and smokey oak. Medium bodied and lush with flavours of dark berries, dark chocolate and a toasted vanilla. Matured silky tannins, layered acidity and a long finish.

Paired beautifully with lamb chops 😋

Vieni Estates Appassimento 2014🇨🇦🍷

Complex and mature aromas of jammy dark berries, tobacco, fig and cedar. Full bodied and fruit forward with notes of fig, cherry, tobacco, baking spice and a hint of dark chocolate. A touch of sweetness at the start is balanced with tart and slightly spicy body and silky tannins that lead to a long finish.

Paired nicely with roasted lamb shank with red wine reduction 😋

Powerful aromas of candied lemons, ripe apples, white flowers, almonds and toasted bread. Great finesse of bubbles on the palate. It’s creamy and fruit forward with bright acidity and a pleasant mineral finish✨

I never drink Rosé in the winter where it’s cold outside; I come in, make my home warm and cozy then uncork the bottle 😅

Château de l'Escarelle Les Deux Anges Rosé 2021 🥂🇫🇷

Notes of strawberry and grapefruit on the nose. Medium bodied and fresh with red fruits flavour and a bright acidity.
